Celebrating 100 Years
Celebratory events in Wellington have included:
- Government House Day
- Leaders Dinner
- Flaming Food<
Below are photos of all these events.
Karori, Island Bay, Linden, Mana, Onslow, Tawa, Tinakori and Whitby/Mana compted in the Wellington Regional Flaming Food event on 13 September. The event was won by Onslow who went on to represent Wellington at the Zone final where they came a close second. The national cook off is on the 22 November in Wellington.
Government House Day
In March the GirlGuidingNZ patron Susan Satyanand and her husband the Governor General, Anand Satyanand, hosted 600 girls from Wellington and Pencarrow regions to a wonderful day of actvities at Government House. Click the photo to see a larger version.
