The centre has two meeting rooms which are both carpeted. The larger room seats 100 people and has an open ceiling. Huntleigh sleeps 30 comfortably marae-style. Hirers need to provide their own bedding.

Upstairs there is a fully equipped kitchen with domestic appliances (no dishwasher). Downstairs are two showers and toilets. We also have a washing machine and drier. There is off-street parking for 10-12 cars.

Adjacent to the building is a level camp site for tents. There is variety of other outdoors spaces for activities including four acres of bush, with abundant bird life and walking tracks; and a Project Adventure low ropes Challenge Course

The centre is situated only 4 kilometres from the city centre, handy to shopping centre and railway station. It is an excellent base for sightseeing in the capital or for overnight camp experience for students.

Moderate fees apply. Users supply their own bedding, towels, personal effects and self-cater. Huntleigh is available for bookings to both Guiding and non-guiding groups.
